Chatham County provides potable water to the site, with a 6" line (3" meter) running through the northern edge of the property. Just like the gas line, the water turns and follows the same route, coming on contact with the southern edge as well.
Permits are in place allowing the removal of water from the nearby Haw River for use as process water.
There is a water treatment facility located on the northeastern portion of the property.
Telecommunications infrastructure exists at the crossing of Pea Ridge Road and US Hwy 1, and on Corinth Road.
PSNC Energy provides natural gas to the site. A 6" line with 500 psig runs through the northern edge of the property before turning in a southwestern direction, which allows it to run past the southern edge of the property too.
The City of Sanford is extending a sewer line to the southeast boundary of the Moncure Megasite.
Permits are in place allowing the discharge of up to 244K gallons per day of treated water into the Haw River.
There is a wastewater treatment facility located on the northeastern portion of the property.
